63 Turkis Kombi. Red9 **The Real Deal** Price: £33k
If you're looking for the real deal in a fully sorted Patina ride this is it.
After many years with busses I decided to build my perfect usable camper. Low but not too low, best quality handling, my favorite layout of all time, simple reliability and great looks with zero rot.
Patina OG paint upper.
Fully cellulose painted underside and engine bay.
*New Red9 double wishbone front end. Creative Engineering/Harry Harpic IRS rear (was red 9 also but it couldn't offer the ride height I wanted)
*New Spax adjustable shocks all round.
*New Rack and pinion steering.
*New Disc brakes 4 pot vented up front.
*New master cylinder.
*New 0 mile 1600 sp engine with AT code gearbox for cruising.
*New tin ware
*New heat exchangers.
*New old stock Dellorto frd twin carb kit. new linkage and filters.
*New interior panel set by Fabrik.
*New retrim seat pads & covers by FABRIC with heated seat elements fitted.
*New Crow Racing lap belts.
*All switches and gauges and speedo restored.
*New Retrim on period Danbury walk through interior with New fire proof foam.
*New creative engineering safaris front and rear.
*New mats,
*New wiring loom,
*New hoses,
*New rubbers,
*New cables.
*New clutch.
*New wood rim steering wheel.
*New polished alloy Porsche Fuch rep wheels and tyres.
*New Gaz bottle, valve and hose fitted and tested at Calor.
Plus much more new stuff, you get the picture.... I fact just about everything but the body and anything old has been professionally restored.
Imagine the cost!!!! Big file of receipts so you could add it up, I don't want to.
The Danbury layout is amazing. 6'+ double bed. Tap, sink and draining board, two hob and grill Tamar cooker, top locker and table. Sink easily removed to give seating for 5 in rear.
Did I mention the heated seats?
*Factory Birth cert.
*New MOT
*Old FANTASTIC PATINA!
