**SOLD** 1964 11-window LHD camper
**SOLD** 1964 11-window LHD camper
by shambly » Thu May 31, 2012 8:08 am
We're regretfully selling our 1964 11-window 1964 LHD camper.
We've done much work to the mechanicals in our ownership (new front beam, disc brakes all round, dual circuit, servo, new shocks, Creative R&P, new continental tyres) and interior (new wooden devon style interior, retrim, Waeco 30 Litre compressor fridge, hot/cold water, 2 burner hob on door, 750W inverter/charger, 240aH of leisure battery with SmartBank/SmartGauge split charge, electrical hookup with RCD; all this technology is hidden away) but the recent purchase of a new VW California camper means that it won't now get the use it deserves.
Paintwork is as originally restored about a decade ago (UltraVW Issue 3 featured bus) but only has a couple of areas that would benefit from a touch-up.
Runs a strong 1600 with dual carbs and a Turbo Thomas stainless exhaust system.
Looking for £27000. Bus in in Hampshire. Could bring to Stonor on Sunday if anyone is interested in viewing. Ready to enjoy for summer
