clutch pedal free play

Hi all,
Could someone pls tell me the amount of 'free play' there should be in the clutch pedal on my 64 bus (has a Kennedy stage 1 clutch with lightened 8 dowel flywheel but wouldn't have thought that would make any difference?) before the resistance starts to bite.
Thanks
