Adjustable push rod tubes - recomendations?
Adjustable push rod tubes - recomendations?
by Who.Me? » Sat Jan 23, 2016 11:48 am
Hi
Can anyone recommend a brand or type of adjustable push rod tube (or any brands/types to stay away from)?
A couple of my fixed tubes are leaking from the seals and I haven't any need to pull the heads. Adjustables aren't cheap so I don't want to throw money down the drain buying cr&p.

Hi
I have been using scat adjustable pushrods tubes on both my last engine builds.not had a problem with either of the engines leaking oil from pushrods tubes.(just bought another set for my current engine build)
i notice there is company advertising on volkszone that has one piece adjustable pushrods tubes for roughly the same price
http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread ... rods+tubes
Think I will try these for my next engine.
As usual Im sure many will disagree, just my experience

The jaycee ones thread themselves. Id advise csp, expensive but the quality is far higher

Thanks guys. 58splitty - what do you mean about the Jaycee ones threading themselves?
I like CSP's stuff, but they're out of my price range at 180 euros plus shipping. Can't find any reviews of they syngear ones from people who've used them, so it sounds like a toss up between scat or Jaycee.
Thanks
Andy
