by piran » Wed May 03, 2017 5:35 pm
hi,
my bus is fitted with a red9 design front beam set up and i need to jack up the front end but don't have the kind of jack that fits in to the jacking points on my bus and i believe you can use the jack on the red9 set up in case it gets damaged etc.
any ideas with pics if poss of other places on the front end i can jack up without damaging anything.
many thanks

Use a trolley jack with a bit of wood to spread the load and jack it where the outrigger meets the chassis rail.

I use a bit of 80mm square Oak across the chassis rails in front of the Red9, that way you lift the front of the bus complete
