hi there, where would be the best place to get the necessary parts for fire issues in engine bay..... firetec suppression system and extinguisher

I fitted R9 ethanol fuel hose, a Durite Fuel cut off valve and a Firetec kit from vwjim... real pleased with how it fitted and looks.
Hope never to test it out thuugh!
There are other systems available but these were less well known by me when I bought mine.

I don't think Jim does the Firetec system anymore

Yep, VW Air Cooled Works for me too, Peter sells a fantastic product and he's a real nice guy to boot! As well as supplying me with a fire suppression kit, I also had the ethanol resistant fuel hoses off him too.
At BusFest a couple of years after fitting the kit, he gave me a replacement LED warning light and also lent me the tools so I could fit it before I travelled home.
