Weber 36 carbs with a 1776cc Engine
Weber 36 carbs with a 1776cc Engine
by gazmate » Sun Jun 10, 2018 4:19 pm
Hi there I have a 1776cc engine as a back up engine for my 64 bus
Engine is basically stock, but taken out to 1776cc
I have got hold of a pair of second hand 36 idf's which i have chucked on.
carbs are:
>Italian Made
>Stamped "36 IDF44 9H"
Settings
>Tubes F50
>Main Jets 135
>Air correction jet 220
>Idle Jets 52
>venturis 30
Just wondering if any one has set 36 IDF's up for a mild 1776 before and what setup/jets you have used?
Any help/suggestions welcome
Gary

What is the rest of the engine?
Valves,cam,...
I would sure change the tubes to F11 or maybe F7.
Air maybe a bit high, but think you have a starting point.
