Refitting heat duct 'Y' over torsion housing
Refitting heat duct 'Y' over torsion housing

So has anyone done it to a bus with the floor fitted / fully painted bus?
I've only ever done it with the floor out. So how did you do it / or photos of something non standard on your current bus?

If it’s a non original floor you need to in large the floor holes to fit it, it’s quite brutal as they don’t like being retro fitted.

That's what I was thinking. Not going to be easy to do neatly

Will, this is one of the jobs that needs doing to franklin/gee gee. Early 50mm tubes fitted as that's all I could find at the time, but now got the correct, later, 60mm tubes (one in your garage and one just delivered from evam). The 50's were a pig to get in, especially as the repro floor pan didn't even have the holes cut for where the heater tubes bulge out from the floor.

I did it years ago by slitting the Y duct horizontally, getting it in place and welding it up. It was a PITA.
