Seatbelts so42 1967.
by John82 » Tue Sep 22, 2020 8:25 am
Hello!
I want to put the seatbelts in my bus. It’s a so42 with 1/3 & 2/3 front seats. 3/4 rock& roll seat rear.
I want to have 3 point seat belt wherever it’s possible. Otherwise 2 point seat belts.
In the front seats of the bus is it possible to have 3 seat belts or just 2 seat belts.

Good thread here too. It’s not an easy task. But one I thought had to be done.

This is what I did to fit 3-point inertia reel belts both sides in the back of our SO42.
Probably spent longer measuring and creating templates for positioning the mountings in the right place in the wardrobe than anything else!!
One hole in the wardrobe but worth it for safety of the kids.
If you need any other photos or measurements etc just ask.
Good luck.
Cheers

Hi John,
Here are some pics of the front (done by a previous owner). Ours is a walkthrough but I presume the principle is the same!
