reusing engine case

Hi. looking to build a 1.6 twin port from the 1.3 single i have at the moment. it hasnt been started in 5 years but does turn. how do i go about and what should i use to clean the case so it is ready to build the new engine? also, can anyone recommend any places to get it machined for full flow? am on the isle of wight so might be a bit tricky?! any help is appreciated. cheers.

There is the bustation in portsmouth or green hearts that may be able to help you out.

If you going tack the engine apart you could do the full flow you self have a look on hear
