what's this dropped off my engine?
what's this dropped off my engine?

just to check, this is an oil filler breather thats just dropped off my engine right?
the rubber seal looks to have broken, so ill just replace the whole lot (breather & seal) unless just rubber seals are available?
believe its a bay engine also.

You dont need it mate - its an aftermarket filter - the stock engines didnt have one - just a hole - remove that jubilee clip and you will be fine.

Looks like that to me.
If you don't refit it, (or re-fit an OG air filter) then oil vapour out of the engine will deposit over the engine bay

You might not be able to just get the grommet if its besoke to the filter. Those things are sold on ebay / halfords etc as a cheap aftermarket thing.

cant you do away with the filter thing and run a piece of tube off the breather, straight out the bottom of the tinwear??
