I feel the need to take a gearbox apart after watching the video.

Could it be something as simple as not enough bend in the bowden tube or the front gearbox mount worn/loose?

well.......when going for 4th...it definelty clonks into 4th re-assuringly.....BUT....it does feel like there is almost a 2nd clonk of re-assurance if you hammer 4th home, if you know what i mean
i tned to try and change gear smoothly and softly (having snapped a few gear levers) but when it pops out of 4th, i give it a good shove into 4th and it tends to saty in (until the next change and i forget and pop it in smoothly)
my reverse also pops out ...much easier and always has ???

i'm having similar issues with my gearbox..
I replaced all the syncromesh just before i start driving it (see the roadtriptopic) and i noticed that if i don't shove it properly in reverse and in 3th (rather than 4th) it pops out.. (not always)
Also getting into 4th is sometimes not as easy as i want it to be.. the 3t and 4th gear issues are mainly when on the highway and when i'm and so less focused on putting it in gear..
I don't really think it has anything to do with my gearbox ( as i checked everything else and it was all good) but i think i have to adjust the plate at the bottom of the gearstick..
Haven't done this yet but will probably give it a go this weekend..
Anybody that can confirm this?
