Porsche front brakes on early split

Need some discs up front a wanna go Porsche so was thinking 944 set up, is it just a rumour about it narrows the front end?

Any advice?

I have a 69 bay beam with ball joints and 944 turbo disks. Mounting kit from T2 detectives. Not sure if it changes the track bit fits a treat and looks good with the fuches.
