I have just fitted a replacment gearbox to the bus.
I emptied the old oil out( not much in it) and proceeded to fill it up. I managed to get in about 2 1/4 litres before it reached the filler hole and start to spill.
Im just wondering Is thats how much oil the AH beetle box takes?

From memory book quantity is 3L from a dry rebuild and 2.5L from an oil change
