I'd be surprised if the T2D supplied m/c is different to the CSP one, as they'll both be using the same Bay m/c, well as far as I know anyway.

I stripped down one of these Farga master cylinders and could see nothing inside that should make any difference which way they fitted

Cheers Paul.
Had confirmation that the way I stated is correct for the T2D dual circuit MC.

Bear in mind that the GSF part is Varga (Brazilian)...not German/ATE....a lot of discussion of any potential quality differences on Samba... with some wise old owls saying they haven't seen any lack in the quality of the Varga part. Then again, those same old wise owls often say they stick with single Master Cylinder, making sure the rest is up to scratch. Fair point.
Are people aware Machine7 are currently doing the CSP (German) Dual cylinder bundle kit for £136...?
http://www.machine7.com/section.php?xSec=2221
According to one of the above links I followed, CE are now charging £120 for their conversion kit alone and Machine7 are charging £118 or theirs........makes the bundle look pretty good given that the DCMC is £60 odd...saving of close to £50.

All well & good but I think the prices for what is basically a plastic bottle, lump of aluminium and a couple of bolts are outrageous and shows how we split owners are getting ripped off

The picture of the CSP one still shows a Varga MC

Agree with both of the above. But that's splits all over...you get used to taking it up the wazoo.
Some parts you can modify yourself, but seems suppliers have cottoned onto this hence the rise in conversion kit prices....
But all that said, you can't faff around making parts yourself and it can end up costing more wasting time to fit badly made parts than it can just buying something that fits (if it fits).
If you want really shafted...try door rubbers.

Glad someone agrees with me, I finished a total rebuild of a Karman beetle a couple of years ago & thought parts for that were expensive, what makes me laugh is a CSP kit sold on fleabay recently for 129+10 postage where it can be got from M7 for 136 including postage!

I did it for a lot less money by getting the reservoir used from a Mk1 golf (a LHD Volvo amazon fits better as the cap sits flat but much more difficult to get)
I did have the drawing for the spacer at home, I'll try and find it (I think I put it in a SSVC tech article a few years back)

I caved-in and went for the Machine7 bundle...when you add up the time spent, unit and travel time, wild-goose-chase-at-scrappers-miles away etc it made sense just to order it and have done.
Dont get me started on the price of earlier (pre63) parts....more racket than Wimbledon

I found the drawing but it is in a funny format. I'll ask one of the guys in the works drawing office to see if they can open it
