I would buy a cheap new dissy off ebay for £40….try it with that in ;-)

if it resolves it…great, if it doesn't, at least you have a known good spare for the tool chest

Vapor lock possibly? Do you have excessive fuel line or have it routed near heat? Usually a type 3 issue but very similar symptoms.

What carb are you running? Is the fuel level too high in the bowl when it stalls?
