Used ones in working condition can be found for circa £40 upwards depending on the condition of the chrome ring. This I imagine would be cheaper than any professional repair, especially once you've factored in the postage costs in
both directions for it.
Beware anyone selling one where they don't state whether it works or not - it is after all only a 2 minute job to test one with two wires and a 6 volt power source.
