Chassis number

I'm looking at van with a view to a purchase. I'm told it is a 62 and imported from Indonesia but can't find the Vin plate. There's a number stamped into the chassis next to the engine - 5090651 - does this make any sense to anyone ? It also has non standard rear lights which are not flat but stick out - any thoughts?

Not sure what they are. There should be a plate in the engine bay an one around the seat bulkhead area

62 will be stamped either side under the tank facing out. Some that were made were ckd and may never have had plates or had panels replaced.
