How to set your gear shifter.

How to set your gear shifter.

by RPATTZ » Sat Aug 08, 2015 9:33 pm
Hi guys, I've just rebuilt my gear shifter which was fully standard before strip down. On the rebuild I've added a quick shift device which sits o top of the selector plate. I got all gears but they are not clean in selection.

Is there a way of setting this up to gain a clean gear selection.

Cheers,

Richard.

Finally got round to try and get this clean gear selection and I think I've totally messed up now. Before I adjusted the plate position I had all four gears in selection a little sticky in selection but there. Adjusted the plate tried the gears again and it's stuck in a position which I can't move.

I hope it's nothing wrong in the transmission end Cap end and its just stuck. I can rotate the wheels by hand so I'm guessing it's not stuck in gear but just jammed.

Anyone got any ideas,
Richard.
