Switch layout.

Switch layout.

by scubybus » Sun Aug 30, 2015 1:42 pm
I'm about to fit the switches in my bus and was wondering if there is a particular layout (position) where they go. I have a 65 Westfalia if it makes any difference. The bus was stripped when I bought it so have no reference as to where they go back.
Thanks for any help.
Terry.

If you look on thesamba.com and the technical tab then at the manuals tab there are handbooks for your year and you will see the switch layout.
You can either search by page or download a copy.
If it is a USA model...you will find the hazard position...

I was in the same position as you and went for the following L-R

Hazard (nearest radio)
Wipers
Headlights (nearest door)

Cheers
