Vintage speed and heater pipes ?

Vintage speed and heater pipes ?

by davebug » Tue Feb 02, 2016 7:03 am
Fitted vintage speed exhaust which is an amazing bit of kit , but I can't fit heater pipes to heat exchangers as where holes in tinware are exhaust runs over them , anyone else had this issue ? And how do I rectify this ?

What specific area do you want close up? My engine's out so easy to do.

Have the heat exchangers only on loose, then fit the hose onto the heat exchangers, then fit the front exhaust pipes, then adjust the heat exchanger position to get the angles as best you can while evenly tightening up all eight exhaust nuts onto the heads.
