Hey anyone got any pictures of where they have bolted there rear lap belts, does one side go through the wheel arch near the top and the other one bolt through in front of the petrol tank or further down so you can get to it from underneath

Check out the Fitting Seat Belts sticky at the top of this page, loads of good info there.

This is where I am fitting mine. I made a bracket to weld my seat belt nuts to which will sit behind the fuel tank and welded another 2 nuts under the arches.

I do t want to take engine and tank out so could I put the middle mounting points below the bend in the pictures which I'm guessing I could get to from underneath

I have a lap belt on one side for Mrs Empi when she's riding in the back (ooeerr missus) and there was no need to take out the engine or tank to get to it from underneath.

Cheers, Lee.

If I was restoring I'd do what blue thunder did, but as I didn't want to risk and damage to my original paint I constructed this for the rear 1/4 panel.

I'm looking at getting 5 sets laser cut for a diy assembly.

I'll dig out the picture of the mounting bar that went under the R&R.

I would be interested in knowing price and considering a set for my 62...
Will they fit?
