Is there a "best" ignition switch available from anyone?

Is there a "best" ignition switch available from anyone?

by MarkFer » Mon Jul 25, 2016 8:57 am
I was starting to suspect my ignition switch for my occasional non-starter woes.

Yesterday it started smoking, took it apart and the thing must have been arcing as the bakelite-type material was crumbling and the sprung position didn't have the best contact mating faces.

I bought this switch 2nd hand (T-code) 5 years ago to then match all my locks to it.

Does anyone now do a new ignition switch with an og style key that I can then match my locks to or do I need to find another old T-code ignition switch?

Cheers

There was a thread a few weeks ago about ignition switches:-

I don't think new switch is for later T code keys unfortunately.
