Hi all can you help please are you supposed to have a rubber seal in the door and in the body? I think my seal kit is short! Thanks

Should be nine sections.

Four around the body frame
Then top + bottom of both doors
Lastly one vertical in the channel of one door

Interesting, just got my old seals out yesterday and this is not the arrangement I had deduced from what is there!

So do the seals at the top and bottom of each door go all the way across? Mine only go to half an inch short of the edges - as if to leave room for the downward seals - so presumably the last person had them attached to the wrong bit?

All the way to the lock rod. The bus seal should be trimmed to it doesn't bulge over the catch recesses.

Thank you.

Yes the top bus strip is trimmed to sit over the catch recesses.

The ones down the outsides of the doors were also trimmed for the hinges which is how I knew that’s where they’d been. So I guess I can bin those two and put new ones down the sides of the bus opening instead.

Checked on Schofields website today and they sell a Wolfsburg West kit which has seven pieces for the door and only top and bottom strips on the bus, which matches how mine have been profiled.

Also anyone know where to source individual lengths because Schofields only sell complete kits and I’m only missing the bottom strip?

Yeah, I'd remembered that the wrong way around.

9 in total, 7 in the doors

Perfect, thanks.

Just got to find somewhere to buy individual seals now as I don’t need all 9
