Fuel pump pushrod

Is this operated by cam on crankshaft or camshaft,on my rebuilt engine it does not seem to move,very strange,going to fit electric pump anyway but just curious

Drive comes from the distributor drive shaft. Very odd that it doesn't move as the engine turns over

Yup engine runs,I know the dizzy drive is not in proper location but solved by moving spark plug leads,will try and do pressure test as I have put another fuel pump on

Other fuel pump worked ok, did not realise spinning engine over on starter got push rod going up and down thanks to previous reply about 2 revs of engine equal one pump

There are two different push rod lengths, 100mm and 108mm, for two different pumps. Do you have the correct one?

Yes correct length for Dynamo ,I had two spare fuel pumps the Brazil one was knackered but VW one with inspection plate worked fine
