dual circuit brakes

Is it a fairly straight swap to chance a split master cylinder for a dual circuit bay one?
Putting a whle new system in the split so though i might as well upgrade if possible.
thanks

It is a doddle. You need an adapter plate, a new mc (obvioulsy) and reservoir, and some brake fluid.
CSP do the adapter, or if you are a bit handy on a lathe I could send you some 'drawings' - it's not difficult...

i thought you could only upgrade to a bay type split cylinder if you were going to disc brakes, as they provide different pressures to front and back.

Yep I ran dual circuit with drums for 2 years till I saved up for the disks, no problems at all, just more confidence in the brakes! PS Ben, great to meet you at BB, had a great cruise down with the BD boys 8O 8)

Instructions are done, but my home internet is down at the moment so I can post them up. If anyone wants an early copy - send me a mail with your return email and I'll send them direct from work

Cheers

I read a US site the other day saying that the last of the splits in 67 had dual circuit - is that a load of cojones?

'tis true, but with all 'one year only' parts, finding them and the prices is an issue.
