Spot the Spindle??

Can anyone tell me what sort brakes/hubs go on these??? All I know is they're 3.5" dropped spindles from Wagenswest.

Nope, I can't see any obvious mounting lugs for the calipers. I thought they may have been 944 at first but again no mounting lugs??

They look like T1 K&L drum type to me???

Are those the ones you've just bought? 8O

What are you planning on running brake wise? Would still think you can knock up a caliper bracket but if T1 running surfaces you'll need to use a custom or later 944 front hub with inserts -I'll send you a link later if you need one.

Also got a good post 86 front set up gathering dust

They are the ones I've just bought off Justin. I emailed Nate at WW and the reply was

Those are a funky spindle that takes a combo bearing brake you will have to install a sand car front brake on those.

They take brakes like this

So they are specifically built to take the Gear One brakes which Justin is also selling. He didn't realise and has agreed to take them back.

I'm tempted to get these....

(thats why I keep asking about your Matt and then I'd drop them).
