EMPI Trigger shift

EMPI Trigger shift

by Hayley VW » Wed Mar 03, 2010 6:55 pm
Hi all, I have an old EMPI trigger shift that I took out of my late bay and wondered if it will fit my new '65 splittie (both RHD - Both 1600 engines). I see adverts for the shifter but they all say '68 upwards and I see none for splits.

Thanks in advance.

Hope you can help - my EMPI change fell apart a couple of weeks ago - the 4 rivets that hold the 2 halves together don't look like they were peened over very much. When the gearstick came up in my hand I realised there was something wrong! On the floor a spring appeared - can you see on yours where it goes?

Sorry dude, I don't have mine at home. I won't see it for at least another month or so.

No problem, I was being lazy. When I get around to fixing it I'm sure if I stare at it long enough inspiration will hit me...
