Front brake hose setup for disk brakes??

Front brake hose setup for disk brakes??

by dombutler » Mon May 14, 2012 2:30 pm
Hi,
in the process of putting disk brakes up front, but not sure of what brake hose to use.

I know that bay window brakes have a small pipe that goes from the caliper to the spindle.
But I have seen someones setup with long braided hoses on 944 calipers that go from the body to the caliper.
Now not sure what way to plumb in the calipers.

Has anyone got suggestions or pictures of what they have done?
Cheers,
Dom.

Hard lines from master cylinder through wheel arch via rubber grommit, all as standard, then stainless braided hoses to caliper. Had my hoses made by 'Earls' located at Silverstone.

Hi,
thanks for the info, I was not sure if I had to make up a small pipe to the spindle.
Cheers,
Dom.
