I came across an ancient thread where someone had uploaded all of the VW repair garages into a Tom Tom.

I thought it might be a good idea to create a Google map of all of the recommended garages up and down the country.

I tried several times but no joy. Central VW AudiCentral House Crescent Road Ellesmere Port Cheshire CH65 4EA0151 355 1246 have used these guys for years and they are brilliant at all types of mechwork locally and there next to the m53 .any help would be great.

I've added Central VW Audi.

It didn't come up in the search initially.

That's happened before. I entered the postcode, then clicked on "Search nearby " and entered the business name then it came up. Added to map...called Vintage VW Repairs.

Cheers, there is a place in st ives near you, beetle barn? Or something like that, by my works hq, heard the look after some bays?

I believe that Beetle Barn are out of business. Someone new has taken over the business, but a Google hasn't found anything.

Zed's Bus Garage who is near me didn't want the address to be public. But will happily accept work for those in the know.

Thanks for the contributions so far, however there are big gaps in the SW and NE of country, so if you know of any good garages, please have a go at editing the map or update the thread instead...I can always add it for you.

Thought I would give this topic a bit of a bump .The map is quite big now so thanks for all the contributions.

I've added personal recommendation quotes for each garage, to add some clout to the entries.

If you've had a good experience somewhere, please add it or ask me to add it.

Going to move this to the Technical Section, then make a Sticky so it stays at the top of the page.
