Anyone got any advice on new wheel Arches - Proper fit or repro? Is the extra £150 or so worth it?
Thanks in advance.

I bought best quality from a so called reputable VW company but they were cr@p. Pay the extra and get the klassicfab ones if you can!

Hi Dougal, I think you're right. The cheap ones are cheap for a reason. I have had the Autocraft ones recommended as well. Cheers, Steve

It's a while back now but I fitted some cheaper rear arches and then realised they were about 5mm out from the OG. So cut them off and replaced them with Autocraft which fitted really well. Since then I've always used Autocraft

For my 64 I bought some cheap quality AHS assemblies and DH cut off the exterior skins which are poor at best and fitted Autocraft outers...Very good fit.
For the 62 I have bought some Klassicfab inners and will use Autocraft outers. Their wheel arch panels are excellent.

If you just need outer skins Autocraft ones are very good. But I needed the complete one on one side (inner and outer). Autocraft didn't do these at the time. Don't know about now.
If you need the complete ones get the Klassicfab ones.
