STOLEN please help. 'WILLS' our black/cream 1966 splitty KBL 449D was stolen from our drive at apprix 1am this morning from New Ash Green, Kent. The tracker has been professionally blocked so we have no idea where he is. Please help him home, we love him dearly.

What a shi**er :( Sorry to hear about that

Probably not a lot I can do up here in Yorkshire, but you never know where it could end up.

Do you have any pics ? or is there anything distinguishing about the van that only you would know?

We always get pikeys around us looking for scrap, so even if I've just been out in the van it always goes back out of sight into the garage. I even get suspicious if I think I'm being followed and drive past the street where I live and park up somewhere until the 'following' vehicle has passed.

Sorry for you lost hope it gets returned to you!

This is why I've never bothered with a tracker felt it was a way of making money through scaring people, my brother had what I think was a GPS/phone blocker cost him a tenner off eBay, he used to wind people up with it in pubs/work etc

I always thought if you where going to nick a car you would just have one of these devises in your pockets and whether it had a tracker or not it would be blocked.

Not again!

Pictures please!
It's pretty clear there's some kind of gang operating in the South East with all these vans getting stolen!

Go around to Neighbours, Police, let them check CCTV.

If only you can find a lead..

Sorry to hear this!

I had the same thoughts regarding trackers and how easily they are blocked. But then I thought, the thief would have to keep the blocker on until they find and remove the tracker. If its well hidden then there's a good chance that it'll still get to do its job.

But now I'm thinking... When you make the 'stolen' call the tracking company presumably send a command to the tracker to get it to repeatedly broadcast. I'm going to call my tracking company and find out if they can tell if that command gets through. If not what's the procedure? Repeated, regular re-sends?

I'm starting to think that some kind of immobiliser is the way to go.

Horrible news BTW. I hope you get some good news soon.

This sucks really makes me angry, you can only do so much, unless you bolt it to the floor it dosn't matter what you have fitted they just drag them up onto a recovery style lorry with a winch. These buses are probably shipped abroad.

Was the bus parked on a drive with anything behind it? Or would it have been just dragged off? Did you have any other security features fitted?

How old was the tracker installation?

Just curious what lengths they're going to and still getting them away.

Taken from facebook

The dragged my husbands work van into the middle of the road to get to him. They then blocked the GPS tracking system so we have no idea where he is. I am distraught :'0( PLEASE Jeep your eyes peeled
