Whats was the story Richierich on your mate not getting his van back? May help to avoid any blocking scams in retreval...

cut a long story short, Dougal got alot of inheritance money when he was 18 (father killed in car crash)
moved to aberdeen to be nearer the surf. bought a bay and used this Dave to fix things. went to europe surfing, leaving the bay on dave's farm. came back bought a 65 split and never seen this dave or his bay ever again! tried turning up out of the blue but no-one was ever there. since all this Dougal sold the split and travelled the word surfing. he now ownes a hugh Hymer motorhome and isn't fussed as it was so long ago! hope this helps.

When I had some issues of my own I used this company

Enquiries@trace4u.co.uk

There is a cost to it but they can tell you if this c*ck Suc$&ing weasel owns anything or has ties to anything tangable in the UK.

I also found trading standards to be very helpful.

Good luck. I hope you manage to get a result.

Sounds like you know Dodgy Dave  Even his mates called him Dodgy Dave

"Was Scotland" Where abouts?

Dave traded in VWs and did them up (badly) for 20 years at Clola, Before that he was a offshore diver connected to the oil industy. Thats where he is now traveling the world in a suit and tie as the gaffer for a large team of offshore divers.

I have known the guy 20 years and he scrapped a whole yard full of VWs when the scrap price was low and got £500 for the lot, I looked at everything in the yard and to me it was just scrap too.

Hope this pale blue bus is not the one??

Kincardineshire and work in Aberdeen - past there a few times on my way to do jobs on ships in the North East. Also known to frequent the odd dive ship myself so good chance i might bump into him once i come back soon! I'm sure the boys in the chambers would not be too happy that he is other wise known as 'dodgy' - eek! :D

Was this like in the 80s maybe 90s?
All the buses n bugs scrapped had sat outside with no love for a decade at least!

I rescued a splitty from there years back..
