Oh dear this looks like itbut in much worse state than when it went in!
considering it drove 700 miles up the road before dodgy Dave got his hands on it! Have you any ideas which scrappie it went to?
They all went straight to the crusher in Aberdeen, You wont find it sat in another car grave yard type scrapyard.
Dave's place was a grave yard for VWs, They were carted away with a truck fitted with a hiab, There was a JCB in the yard that was used to take off the pop-tops and wheels/tyres as no good to the scrap man. Within a few hours it would have gone through the mill in ABD and reduced to small bits.
There was also 2 orange/white rhd Devon bays bit the dust that day, A double slider bay panel, A couple more homebrew bay campers and 3 t25s.
I was down there at the time removing my barndoor panel from one of the buildings as it did not look good for my storage space when the for sale sign went up.
This was a few years ago now though, When did you realise it had been stolen? When did it drive up there?
Sorry dude for bringing you the bad news.

It first drove up ten years ago when my Father-in-law owned it and went to Dave for some repair and upgrading. Things seemed ok with that so my F-in-law then gave him a list of upgrading jobs and a wadge of cash to get it in perfect condition as he was working away and would come back for it. He then foolishly asked him to keep it in storage for some time. Every time he contacted Dave everything was fine, no problems, etc, etc! Things seem to go wrong a couple of years ago with a lot of vagueness and no contact was made about the sale!! Since we moved we've been trying to find out what happened!!! We managed to visit the garage several times and eventually found sites like this one as we didn't want to give up! At least we've finally found out now!!
