The tracker company 'scorpion' have now said that it was stashed in a 'black spot'. Apparently they work on the same basis as a mobile phone, some places you can't get a reception! Begs the question wtf?!! Unfortunately we have to have one to get insurance as our early bay was also stolen 6 years ago, sadly never found. We've not actually seen Will's yet but have seen photos police took & appears to be very little damage thank god. It is in the police pound now for forensic to go over it but we've been told that even if the do get who took him it'll only be a slap on the wrist! They'd only be able to charge with twoc as no damage to vehicle. Makes me so angry!!!! The ******* get away with it to go on & do it again!!!!!!!!!!

Next thing is to try & find additional security measures. Wheel clamp, additional alarm & upgrade immobiliser amongst other things.

Sure I've seen or read about it somewhere. Hence top dollar super cars being taken and never reappearing.

Dogs a great idea, but will bugger your interior! Faraday cage, yep its a shipping container, so if your near docks? I'm ok I live on Merseyside (oh bugger) .final solution paint your bus in a really lurid paint scheme with signwriting all over it and make sure its very slow :-)like mine :P
The bestest answer is physically restraining the vehicle too slow removal, ground anchor, chain, wheel clamp etc or park it next to a shiney samba :?:

It seams they are dragging the vehicles off people's drives, only way to stop or at least slow this down would be to,use a wheel clamp/lock (Sold gold standard) and or a security post.

Don't forget the wheel clamp can be easily removed if your not using locking wheel nuts.

I have a long padlock which goes through a drilled hole in the handbrake lever and then latches closed around the gearstick, thus locking the two together. Not much, but it's something to slow the buggers down if anyone does try to nick it.

Glad to hear that you'cve got your bus back. Police should have staked it out and shot the b******s

So glad you've got your bus back. :)

As for company excuse that's bulls@t. See my first reply on this thread re blockers etc. no tracking company will ever want to admit their whole security system (business) is useless with the use of a £30 device would they! Ask them was it a black spot all the way from your drive way to the found location then!!!

About time insurance companies woke up to hard sensible security being the best form of deterrent (padlocked to ground stake etc)
