57 LEFT TO RIGHT RIGHT TO LEFT

My PG/SG Bus,
After seeing JohnTC's Bus my mind was made up! I am going from LHD to RHD moving the cargo doors from RHS to LHS.
Off we go to Autocraft, with a very big list, to see what panels are about for moving the cargo doors over.
I returned home with a full long side panel for a right hand drive, a small side panel and an outer B post panel to waist line
but no C post, inner and outer sills for cargo doors, out riggers and top hat sections and a very big hole in my pocket.

Looks like a big project breaking out
definitely rather you than me just doing pedals, seats and dash has been a pain and still got sheds load more bits.hope it's not a walk through as that's a whole world of hurt
keep on plodding and remember no pictures it didn't happen.doesn't seem to be too many conversions about that are well documented but rocket bus has loads of pics that will help.all the best and keep up the build thread.

decide not to change the cargo doors on mine as i felt all the extra work out weighed the fact i'll just park up drivers door to the curb(yep i know your not meant to park that way but my neighbours been parking "the wrong way" for 20 years and nowts been said
)plus i'm not brave enough to open that can of worms.how you doing the pedals?(C/E), red 9 front end for r/h/d steering or old school? keep up the good work.

Had a couple of busy days on the van, getting on well. It is much easier than I expected.
Cut the windows from the left side to make room for the cargo doors, these windows will
be used on the right hand side. The bottom section of the cargo doors need to be repaid.
Back to Autocraft this week for more panels.

More work on the bus today, got the inner and outer repair panels on the cargo doors, theres a bit more
welding and grinding to be done but I am quite pleased with it.
Cut the lower front off and fixed the new inner valance, trial fitted the outer valance and front panel
there fitting nicely, Well done autocraft.

Wow, I am converting mine from LHD to RHD but leaving the doors as they are, fair play for taking this on and nice one on the skills side of things, very very impressive.
Can I ask, on the front panel where the swage for the V is on yours, is there a little bit of a alignment issue, mine was out by about 2-3mm either side, and try as I may, there was just no way to get it to fit better, from the photos, and I may be wrong but yours looks similar? If so, what are you planning to do? Thanks.
