56 money pit
56 money pit

Hi all ,I'm fairly new to this forum, had aircooled for last 25 years and currently been using my 69 bay for last six years which has been a blast ,been looking for some time for a split, had a look at one or two but tend to be over valued or much worse than they say
anyway found an ad for a 56 and didn't go expecting too much,my biggest worry was it had been started and been sat in primer for around three years, always dubious about primered cars because of horrors,as it happened its a cracker with very little welding needed and as far as can see all original panels which are in fantastic condition with virtually no traces of filler to be found,it's a long project but here's the bus, hope this gives idea of how she is .cheers Dave Matthews.

Nice looking, and straight early bus. Did you get an interior - getting hard to find on those.

Not posted for ages , bus nearly ready to hit road , got all underside done , fitted bug gearbox straight axled her , dropped spindles adjusters and steering box lift had chassis notched chucked a 1600 twin carber in with vintage speed , really enjoying tinkering and first drive day is looming
