After waiting a couple of months for my '65 11 window it finally arrived today.

I was like a kid in a sweet shop with a huuuuuge cheesy grin as I drove it for the first time since becoming the proud owner (many thanks Jon!).

How many miles have you clocked up today then?

Do you find you can't stop smiling when your driving? I think it's one of the best feelings driving your first split.

Wanted to give the paint some TLC this afternoon whilst the sun was out.

Was on my way over to yours then the heavens opened up so I headed home instead.

Took the week off work so I can get to know her a little better!

Anyone know what the paint colour might be?

I think the bottom half could be velvet green (L512?) but I am unsure of the top half. It appears to be a white with a hint of green? (Pearl White L82?).

If so would this be an original colour?

Velvet green/Pearl White is an original and quite common combination. Your bus seems to be it, or very close to it.

Check the m-code plates.

hello chris hows the bus mate (git) you can get the paint mixed up at any good paint suppliers mate.as long as you got the codes.ok looks good now its clean too

Van going well!

Picked it up from Loughborough today after having the rear belts fitted, she run's really sweet.

Took me several hours to clean on Monday, just got it finished then it lashed it down, nevermind, it gives me a good excuse to clean it again!

Looking into getting a few areas touched up when the winter sets in. Nothing major as I can't see the point in taking the original paint off only to replace it with the new stuff.

I owe you a pint so we will go in the van!
