55 barndoor standard, update chassis in.
by 55bdkombi » Sat Jan 30, 2010 9:22 pm
hi there, just bought a 55 kombi of my mate di, aka streetwagens. This is my first van and my second aircooled project, first was (is) a 67 fastback that ive barly started, however i decided an early van is the only way to roll to camburg
.
it needs a lot of work, but of coarse, needs a full chassis, a full roof plus all the usual bottom 12 inches etc
i will put up the rest of the photos tommorow but for now heres a few teasers
wish me luck, and if anyone has some bits feel free to pm me, i will put up a full wanted list when i get a chance

Well volks folks, grab yourself a beer and make sure you're seated comfortably to enjoy the long ride, as yet another great "Rides and Projects" thread kicks off
