58 and it's changes
by Bleedingmoody » Thu Dec 16, 2010 10:00 pm
I bought the bus back in 2004 and it looked really nice (well I thought so)
stock height and pretty standard apart from it having the wrong bumpers
but I soon got bored (bit of problem with me )
so first I tried to find the right bumpers but only managed to find a front to start with, thanks to 54doubledoor
I then decided to lower it for the first time
but this didn't last long so decided to lower it a bit more and managed to find a rear bumper
then I got bored again and as rust had starting coming through on the bottom of the doors I thought it would be a good time to strip back the paint and see what was underneath the many layers of paint.
I found lots of filler and lots of dents but i kinda liked it
that pretty much brings us up to date, apart from lowering it a touch more
so up to date pics
I am toying with stripping some more paint off the top and having the blue up to the roof but not sure yet
sorry for boring you, but thought it would be nice to put it all in one thread
