If I had the room and could find one I would love one,
I think my next purchase will be a rack, just got to move house first as it wouldnt fit in the garage with one on ??

Am thinking of selling but only to people who can come and actually see it. So they can see what they are getting
I think I enjoyed the journey and I am so bored now its finished I need another to do, but I will have to sell this one to afford to do another, its been 4 years in resto, and I was chasing it for 5 years before that.

Was it really 4 1/2 years ago!!
I did sell my 13 Deluxe to a guy in Queensland who uses it to do weddings.
I have been restoring and customising bikes for the last 4 years, Harleys and Triumphs,
But I couldnt keep away, not a split but back with the Aircooled I am doing an old Cal look beetle.

I remember this resto well Dave. Followed it closely on KC. I also recall it sold quickly and for top $ at the time, a bargain compared to todays prices Your bus kind of went missing after you sold it. Do you still see it up North?

Hi Si

Hope everyone is well
Im still tinkering with VW's but the prices of splits over here meant I am doing a beetle now, nearly finished it, just got to get the engine parts to Dave, he hasnt worked on his Barney for a couple of years?
Im still driving a van daily , mind you it is a T5 Multivan Highline, not as fast as the split but a bit more comfortable .
