So it turns out my rear bumper is from a early bay.
The front is correct for the year (66) diamond cut but the rear isn't.
What I'm gonna do for now is weld in some plates ( like a split would have ) and use this bumper as it's nice and straight , then hunt around for a 66-67 diamond cut.
Whilst at it there's a couple extra drilled holes in the bumper so will weld them up too!

Once I'd finished I fired her up and noticed the throttle cable was sticking a bit.
When putting it all back together the other week I noticed the cable was a bit rusty so today I've ordered a new one in the hope that will help ?
U finish one job n find another , it's the way it goes with old motors lol
