Thats fine the remote unit was off ebay about £30 used an old ash tray bottom cut it short and welded a plate across the bottom with a clearance hole for the ipod. screwed it down the fitted the ash tray as normal . power is via a 5v regulated supply you can either use a 7805 regulator only 3 wires dead easy or cut up a usb to car adaptor.

loads more done been building my take on a devon type bulkhead unit just waiting for the new seat covers to be finished not long now...

I have managed to fit a headliner and fitted the seat covers all looking good now just working on the tv .

had the D1lcc tested and running for a fre hours just need to sort out location and tap into orignal heater pipe. going to fabricate a tank under the cab seat.

managed to get the porting work done in 3 almost sold days of die grinder action it may take a week to clean the garage down before i can fit the heads now.
