Are they actual speaker mounts though?! I've not met anyone who actually knows for sure. I thought they were strengtheners because of the corner windows. But doesn't really explain the hole! lol
It's looking awesome Daz. Good work.

On the OS door there is only a door pin but I need a mirror arm so I can see what's behind me plus I. Like big mirrors !! So over the last few weeks I have been spraying the pin with the ol jizz juice trying to free it ! Also been giving it a few whack off with the hammer to shock it .
I then lent this tool from my mate but after a few try's all I did was bend the pins that go with it
All bent with me using all force and no finesse
So I got talking to a engineer about this and he recommended " crack spray " it freezes the rust then you get a crack at it ??? I was a bit sceptical so I asked him to use his can ( beg )
And guess what
It only worked !! -
Happy days
Mirror arm installed

The bus never came with a rear bumper so was on the look out for a certain kind to fit in with the pat N Tina of the bus , so while I was at the El prado show I m picked this beauty up .
But on fitting it kept fouling the vintage speed exhaust - on and off adjust - adjust and then I noticed one of the bumper hangers was a repro and was welded in places - so a swap with a og and a sweet fitting was had
All fitting fine -looking mighty fine
I spy I can see you
Then on with the number plates
Then up front

Patina is nice but the lovely sarah will only travel in luxury !! I am eventually gonna get a cloth head lining with cloth sides done as per deluxes had them - plus I want to put some sound deadening in . The interior metal has suffered surface rust over the years so if I put the cloth on top and water got in the cloth would be marked etc plus the the sticky back sound deadening don't stock to rust ! So with a heavy heart I had to sort the inside out ....
Before
If I preserved this with colinite the sound deadening wouldn't stick
To this with a splash of paint
Pop ur cherry red
I'm not too bad with a roller brush ...

Ha ha you know me - people say the worst bit of rattle cans is the shaking to free the paint but for me I'm fab at it - it's all in the wrist action !!!
