love the evolution. I'm sure you must have ADHD or something!
Morning by the way! How's that puck coming along? Can't wait to see it.

Sup Debla? ADHD huh? Probably not too far from the truth if I'm honest, but you know how it is.
As for the Familia? Alot has changed in the last month or so reclaimed Maple flooring is fitted and ready to lacquer, it's rolling about the workshop at its desired ride height, and I have most of the materials to build the new interior. The only problem I have is the lack of time. I need to focus on getting the van up and mobile now for a bit, so it's on the back burner till then, but WILL be finished in time for the summer ...

It's been a while Mark, but I'll try an drag this up to date. Wheels, headlining, roof rack and cab area have changed since the last pictures
The Familia is finished too
I've had my fun using it this year so the interior is already stripped out, ready for some big changes
More soon ...

Loving all your mods mate and fair play on the Familia, it rocks. Took me half an hour to catch up on what you've been up to, but worthwhile!
Did you sell the old trailer?? [emoji39][emoji39]

whoops, slack reply again. a lot has changed in the last few months, the new interior is very nearly finished. started from the ground up with some reclaimed Maple flooring from a place in St Ives went down really nicely
few different grades in the belt sander and the grain and colour pop
ended up using the same wood for the luggage area too
after looking at loads of different original interiors and set up decided to make some thing similar to a Campbox style arrangement, but the same style as the Familia
Fortunately I have a spare English Rose kitchen unit I picked up from BDMike a few years ago to use as cupboard
I don't need to the top drawer section so off it goes
the first of several goes with paint stripper to get the door back to bare aluminium
used the frame to get a rough idea where things should be
I covered the floor with carpet protector to keep it clean and drew the layout in tape
side panelled next. This was padded grey and red, this time I used Birch faced 1.5mm aeroply, perfect for the curves in the back corners. Started by making a card template first, then transferring
these 5x5 sheets are great fun to use, just cut with a Stanley knife
light sand, a coat of bees wax and Fiddes polish
and finished with a coat of Diamond Glaze to seal
propped in place with Gorilla glue doing its thing
started the other side next to the door
in
bare metalled and repainted the sides at the back
floor and sides finished. ...
