Like the demands being obeyed....
Re you a man or a mouse?
We all go eek eek in the end! LOL

My demand was it has to have OG interior and seats...can't see them now for curtains cushions and chinese lantern fairy lights and hanging hearts and bunting LOL

So got a bit of ribbing about the Neptune blue tin wear so I swapped over the og black tin wear and engine back in . The carb manifold had seen better days as I was going back to a single carb so I got a new one as the old one had blocked pre heat pipes and I've had problems before with carb icing before .

Also who needs a ignition key when a one size screwdriver fits it perfectly

The side door handle had taken a bashing as the bus had been on it's side ( sliding down the road ) , and the metal housing had taken a bashing around the escutcheon which was all wonky .

Image

It was a bugger to get the handle off as it was locked and the hole fir where the key went had been fubbered !

So I got a slide hammer and bent a right angle piece of metal to hook under the skin , a few slides later and it looked / fitted sweeter

After a few drives and one fuel breakdown I def needed a fuel gauge and since I'm going out led bulb mad on this bus so I liked the look of the v- speed Denhe gauge
- I got a piece of aluminium for the base and curved it so it fitted the profile of the dash - might thin it down a bit as protrudes quite high - but well pleased with the look !

Only got a few gallon in the bay fuel tank at the moment so it's reading low - got to save up to fill the tank up .

What you think

Looks really good...you could get the shape profile matched to the gauge base plate shape as well then the plate at the back would look like an OG fitment.
If done on CNC machine..programing takes the time..
Get several made...Lots would buy!

Put £20 if juice in and got to the next target / level on the fuel gauge - so looks like it's working
