Man, but that story and what great work you're doing.
I'm from Brazil and long-time dream with a barndoor but finding one around here is almost impossible!
Would you mind if I tell a little about your story on our site: www.fuscafloripa.com ?
Hugs

So after I had brought the shell to BD Campout 1 I thought it would have been cool to bring the chassis to Campout 2. But come the show the chassis was looking like this (well at least I though so).
To much bare metal for the weather forecast
So I went to Campout 2 busless
But at the meet I quickly realised the guys had a surprise for me. A quick visit to shop on the way home revealed this...
HOW COOL!!!!
Anyone fancy a go-cart race
Unification has Begun!
And not a green panel to be seen so far.
Next step is a big order of Columbian green to stitch up the gaps.

Very chuffed for you Rob. A huge step forward from that faithful afternoon winching the shell from those rafters ...

Another worlds first.
<53 A-pillars
Start
Gerson >53 complete A pillar.
Remove the door seal channel
Widen the section by 7mm
Weld new strip in gap, grind flat then cover up by replacing door channel.
Simple! Well kinda.
I know its a minor detail but I will be looking at it ever time I'm behind the wheel.
Next... Twisted ass doortops

Made a start on straightening out my doortops.
This is simply twisting and arm and leg work. Well pleased with what 5mins did. Defiantly savable, but before I could spend a day beating on it to get it perfect yesterday one of the best things I ever made got delivered....
Not sure this one will help the resto speed though
I'm pushing for a bus related name (she's not named yet
)
And no it's not Sam or Rusty
