Got the old door check mount and spring into the new door frame and trimmed the frame aperture to fit (can't be that hard to cut this hole during manufacture, just a thought KlassicFab!)

Earlier buses did not have door checkers. Klassicfab panels you have are for earlier models. Hence no fiitings/ apertures etc in your A posts and doors. Others have retro fitted checkers to early buses as you have.

Indeed they do BUT KlassicFab market their doors like this -
.....and I ordered the one on the right 63/67 so was rather expecting a door check hole.
Never mind, least of my build worries.

Both handed the same I just put an early left next to a late right as that’s how they were on the website and an easy screen grab. The later rh and lh both come without the check holes and the pressing flanges are not the same either, will post photos later, so if you are a perfectionist then you may be disappointed.

Will use the gear change from the Porsche 964 and extend the gear shift rod. if that fails then its over to this system and more £££££££

The gear change set up is proving challenging and have resorted to a 1904 period wooden set up -
