Jeez guys, I know the doortops have come out nice but I didn't expect this kind of response
You know it. And she'll be a qualified mechanic by the time she gets to drive it too.

Congrats Rob,
A new member of the family is the best thing EVER........period
However, your days going to the garage to play are over
..........well for now anyway
But then you will realise that a bus would be a perfect family wagon, and permission will be granted to continue
(I bet you will be putting full 3 point inertia bels in though
)
Phil.

I just realised I have no 'as found' pictures in this thread.
So here they are.
As first discovered in the woods on Saturday January 19th 2008
Then pulled out of it's resting place of more then 40 years the following Saturday on this very day, January 26th 2008, four years ago.
Just out of interest this is the T25 Singlecab 16" that I should have been using to get home broken on Thursday May 8th 2008
Then the big day - Saturday May 8th 2008 (homeward bound)
Wow! 4 years!!
Now where are those panels, time to get a move on

Today is my buses Diamond Jubilee
60 years to the day that it left the factory.
I was hoping that it might be further along for it's birthday, but nothing much has changed due to purchasing a load of panels (finally arrived only 6 months late and still missing one panel
) the new baby, new house, new job and economic recessions (no excuses
)
I did get her a birthday pressie though. Kind of an important part
Did some engine noises too
Yes it's the wrong colour (early deluxes have a ivory Bakelite too) but nothing a patina'd paint won't hide.
Plus, in keeping with the theme, the wheel is going to get some 'special alterations' that i just couldnt do to a original early deluxe wheel (if i could even find and afford one) that will make it very unique and just a little special
