That's the plan mate! Wallet allowing, I'm now finding just how many of the bits that came with it are knackered!

Van shell,is now atbthe paint booth for top coat. The booth is in fact a homemade one build within my fencing suppliers warehouse, but my,painter seems happy with it.
In the meantime I've been rubbing down all the small bits to be painted, and my painter joe has been prepping the doors....
This cargo door is the one I narrowed atbthe bottom and I have also let in a new lower inner frame and lower outer skin. Pleased with what joe has done prep wise on it to make it look straight...
Finally I bough the wolfsberg west engine lid that schofields sell.. It's a lovely bit of kit, and seems a good replica of the original. I had to cut the engine lid stay off the old one and attach to the new. It was supposed to,come with one but mine didnt for some reason
So that's it..I hope my next update will be with a painted shell back in the garage.. Hoping this will be sometime next week!

Shell is painted.......enough of me, you want the pictures right?.........
Well I can't say more more. I can honestly say the last two or three weeks have been stressful and tbh not that enjoyable trying to get it ready etc etc. it's not perfect by any means, but I'm pleased with the colours, a couple of bits to touch in, but this has been painted in base coat and laquer which makes this easier.
All the doors still need to be blocked and painted, but I feel a weight has been lifted now the shell is painted.
Let putting back togetherness commence........
...did i say I seem to be going wildly over budget?

Nice one Jon, good to see it in paint at last. Can't wait to see it on the road. Now you're putting it back together you'll realise just how un-steady your hands are
Cheers, Lee.
